Where to Find the Best Pizza in Prescott

EAT

Pizza is undeniably one of the best dishes on earth. It can be eaten warm. Cold. For dinner. For lunch. Heck, we’ve even been known to sample a slice at breakfast.

Luckily for Prescott, there are some out-of-this-world pie makers right here in town. You may want to put on some stretch pants for this list.

Bill’s Pizza

Nestled on the east side of the historic Prescott Courthouse Plaza, Bill’s Pizza has been making their signature sourdough pizza crust since 2009. Gas fire brick ovens make sure you’re getting the freshest pizza, right when you order it. Take the time to go through their extensive menu where you’ll find pizzas like the feta, spinach and bacon topped Kevin Bacon pizza, or the extra garlicky Whiskey Row. Build your own pizza and choose from dozens of toppings like housemade meatballs, chorizo, and sun dried tomatoes.

Rosa’s Pizza

Rosa’s Pizza is so popular they have two locations in Prescott! Sicilian-born restaurateurs Domenic and Rosa Anzelmo brought New York-style pizza to the west coast and have been serving it alongside authentic Italian fare. You’ll find classics like Margherita and Meat Lover’s pizza on their menu alongside savory options like the Godfather, topped with sausage, meatballs, and ham, or the surprisingly refreshing Mediterraneo with grilled chicken, sun dried tomatoes, and ricotta.

Park Plaza Liquor and Deli

While liquor stores don’t usually make pizza lists, the Park Plaza Liquor and Deli does for good reason – their wood-fired pizzas are some of the best in town. With dozens of options, you’ll have to come back to try out each flavor combination. Savor fresh spinach, arugula, and roasted garlic on their Florentine pizza, however, make sure to bring a toothbrush if you’re indulging in their Stinkin’ Rose pizza which is generously topped with garlic.

Papa’s Italian Restaurant

Family-owned for over 30 years, Papa’s Italian Restaurant offers the spirit of Italy, right in the heart of Prescott. Enjoy freshly made dough and Pomodoro pizza sauce as you listen to classic songs that will have you feelin’ extra Italian. Make your own pizza, or order off the menu. The Classic Combo keeps traditionalists happy with Italian sausage, pepperoni, and black olives, while veggie lovers will rejoice with the Tuscan Garden that is heaped with Roma tomatoes, bell peppers, and zucchini.

Granite Mountain Pizza Company

Gourmet pizza shop Granite Mountain Pizza Company never scrimps on quality. With dough made fresh daily, never frozen ingredients, and veggies cut fresh, you’ll definitely taste the difference. Spice lovers will want to indulge in their Fresh Jalapeno Burn pizza (we recommend going with their spicy sausage on top!) while people who believe pineapple doesn’t belong on pizza might just have their minds changed after sampling the Big Kahuna pizza.
