For the third consecutive year, my family and I are gearing up to witness this high-octane spectacle, an event that has become a family tradition for us. The excitement is palpable among the kids, who are already counting down the days to what promises to be an unforgettable weekend of motocross action. The last couple years we got the pit party passes, and the littles loved running around the track and meeting the riders.
The AMA Arenacross Championship, a premier motocross racing series, is renowned for its rapid pace and intense competition. This year, the series spans 14 rounds across 13 cities, bringing together some of the nation's top professional athletes. These skilled riders will transform arenas into battlegrounds, showcasing their determination and prowess on challenging tracks filled with jumps, berms, rhythm sections, and whoops. The Findlay Toyota Center in Prescott Valley is set to host this adrenaline-pumping event, starting on Friday, January 13th, 2023. Wayne Seboa, one of the AMA Arenacross promoters, promises an action-packed night of racing and entertainment suitable for the whole family. "The fans in Prescott Valley will see firsthand the new Arenacross format," says Seboa. At 6:30 o'clock in the evening, there will be a live DJ at the track party, and at 7:30 o'clock will be the main event, with top riders competing for the coveted #1 plate.
This year's lineup includes sensational riders like Ryan Breece, Izaih Clark, Kyle Bitterman, Kyle Peters, and Cody Groves, who have been making waves in the motocross world. Their jaw-dropping aerial maneuvers and fierce competition are a testament to the exhilarating nature of this sport.
